When are the Tropic Isles Association Board meetings?
The monthly board meetings are held the first Monday of every month at 6:30 P.M. Changes and/or cancellations to meetings are posted on the web site and on the TI Boards.
Where are the Tropic Isles Association meetings held?
The monthly meetings are held at Caribbean Baptist Church in the Educational Building at the corner of Waldron and Caribbean. Address: 3125 Waldron Road, Corpus Christi.
Why do I need to register with TropicIslesHOA.com in order to view the Minutes and the Message Board? And how does it work?
These two pages require member login because our meeting minutes and community postings may have sensitive information for only our residents. Therefore, you need to register to create a login and password. The required information is first and last name, email address, street address and home phone number. Scroll to the bottom of the page and type the verification code and enter. Then within a few minutes you will receive an email stating we received your information. After that you will receive an additional email with your login and password to access the site.
How do I view the documents that are listed on the Minutes and Documents pages?
In order to view documents, you need to utilize the program Adobe. This program makes every document accessible regardless of the program that created it. And the Adobe program is free. At the top of pages that have viewable documents, there is a link to download Adobe at no charge. Once you safe and run this program, you will be able to view our documents.
How do I change my password?
Go to the upper left corner of the navigation menu. Next to login, click on your profile. Use the form to change your password and any additional profile information. Then scroll to the bottom to save.
How does the sponsors page work?
Our sponsor page consist of businesses in and around are our community that have paid a one year fee to advertise on our site. At the top of the Sponsor's page there is a link to provide your companies information. It cost only $10.00 for one line of information including, name, address, phone number, web link and date of sponsorship. To add a graphic no larger than 300 x 150, it is $40.00 a year. In addition, we have an exclusive sponsor. An exclusive sponsor pays $350.00 a year to be the exclusive sponsor of their category and is not restricted on the amount of content to advertise. Currently, we only want one exclusive sponsor.
As a resident of Tropic Isles, can I use the boat ramp located at the end of Caribbean Street?
On Sunday, June 8, 2008, Tropic Isles Association received verbal notification that the open access to the boat ramp at Caribbean will be discontinued and it will be blocked off. After speaking with Roger Viar at that time, the Manager for the owner of the properties, they closed access to the ramp and area due to their liability concerns. In lieu of the use of the boat ramp at Caribbean, they provided access to Tropic Isles Association Members to launch boats at Bluff's Landing Marina & Lodge for a period of time, but it has since been discontinued. Members will now have to pay for their launches or use the free ramps on the island. Thanks for your understanding and continued support.”
